What’s not to like?

12 oz. room softened cream cheese

1-1/4 cups confectioners sugar

2-1/2 cups heavy cream

2 tsp pure vanilla

1/4 tsp grated lemon zest

Seeds scraped from one vanilla bean

Place the cream cheese and confectioners sugar in a mixer bowl.  Beat on high for2 minutes. Scrape down the sides and change from the paddle to the whisk attachment. With mixer on low, add the heavy cream, zest and vanilla seeds and extract. Beat on high speed until very thick.

Line a heart shaped creme mold or a strainer with cheese cloth. Put mixture into mold and fold the cheesecloth over the surface of the creme. Place over a bowl or pan so it can drain and refrigerate overnight.

Unmold, remove cheesecloth and garnish as you wish!
